HeyWire™ technology draws on the semiconductor and cable industry. HeyWire™ is comprised of a metal wire which is coated with several layers of luminescent materials. A transparent conductive layer with two wires is then added and then a PVC jacket which together form a coaxial construction. When electricity is applied to the inner and the outer wires, the semiconductor material between the two electrodes emits light. HeyWire™ and its production technology are patented. |
